Web design
A business site, an online shop, or a single page for one offer. I write it from scratch, so it loads fast, gets found by Google, and says on the first screen what you do and why it should matter. I work with businesses anywhere.
What you get
Every line here can be ticked off at the end. If it can't be ticked off, it's a promise, not a delivery — and it has no business being on this page.
No off-the-shelf themes, and no twenty plugins fighting each other. It loads in under a second, and it still will in two years' time.
You don't send me “the content”. We talk about what you sell and to whom, and I write it — in English that sounds like a person, not a brochure.
Headings, URLs, structured data, sitemap. The boring part, done end to end, because that is exactly what decides whether you show up.
Most of your customers open your site from bed, on 4G. It gets built for that screen, not for my monitor.
Messages land in your inbox and on your phone, not in some box nobody ever checks. It gets tested before launch, with you watching.
The domain and the hosting are in your name. No compulsory subscription, and you are not tied to me for it to keep working.
How it goes
Twenty minutes about what you sell, to whom, and what brought you here. No sales pitch.
You get a clear proposal: what's in it, what it costs, how long it takes. One figure, not a range from 500 to 5,000.
You watch the progress on a link, not at the end. If something isn't right, it changes then, not after launch.
It goes on your domain, the form gets tested, the logins get handed over. You keep everything, the code included.
The proof
This is an online shop running right now: search, filters, product pages. Open it and scroll through it.
Questions
It depends how many pages it has and whether it sells anything. A business site starts from a few hundred euros, an online shop costs more because it has more moving parts. I'll give you a figure after the first conversation, not before — otherwise it's a made-up number.
Most sites are ready within 10 days. When it takes longer, it's usually because I'm waiting on photos and on the changes each client wants.
I write the code from scratch. A template shows: it loads slowly, it looks like a thousand other sites, and it locks you into plugins you then depend on. If you already have WordPress and just want it to run better, we can talk about that too.
Not necessarily. The domain stays yours and is paid yearly. If you want me to keep looking after it, we discuss that separately — but it isn't required for the site to work.
